What's Petanque?

Petanque is derived from a game that human beings have been playing since the dawn of time... throwing things!

The object is to throw a metal boule toward a jack (or cochonet) and get points for each boule that is closer to the jack than your opponent's nearest boule.

Petanque is normally played on a hard, uneven gravel surface called a terrain and can be played head-to-head or in doubles and triples.

It's easy to play even the first time and can be lot's of fun and equally very competitive.
